In my family, we really love all those starchy vegetables.
Potato pancakes are a classic that mostly you'll make in Chanukah.
I upgraded the classic recipe a little bit with sweet potato and grated onion and the result satisfied our taste buds.
As you will see the recipe is very simple and I really love those "throw everything to the bowl" kind of recipes , but still I love challenging and creative recipes as you can and will see in my blog.
3/4 cup flour(equals to 150 ml, so should be 1/2 US cup + 1 tsp.)
2 medium sweet potatoes, grated
3 medium potatoes, grated
1 large onion, grated
salt and pepper for taste
oil for frying
Drain the veggies from water after grating.
Mix well all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry from both sides until ready.
Comments will be appreciated :-)
