הוזמנתי להשקת סדרת שואבי האבק האלחוטיים של LG, "הגיע הזמן להשתחרר מהכבלים", באולם דוצ'ה בתל אביב.

אתם בטח חושבים לעצמכם, יש כבר משהו דומה, לא? אז במידה כלשהי זה נכון, יש כיום את הרובוטים הקטנים האלחוטיים, אבל עד כה לא ייצרו שואבי אבק בגודל רגיל וכאן טמון החלק העיקרי והחדיש בסדרה הזו - עצם היותם נטולי כבלים והגבלות.

 

I was invited to the launch of the new cordless vacuum cleaners series of LG, "it's time to let go of the cords", at Doche hall in Tel Aviv.

You're probably thinking to yourself, there are similar products existing, right? well in some way you are right, there are those tiny cordless floor robots, but these vacuum cleaners are new, because they are the first regular vacuums without any cords. This series is mainly innovative by being CordZero anf limitless.

אתם בטח חושבים ששואב האבק הזה הוא לא מספיק עוצמתי, מכיוון שהוא לא מחובר לחשמל או שהבטרייה שלו נגמרת מאוד מהר, אז זהו שלא.

הרגשתי את עוצמת השאיבה של השואב ומדובר בעוצמה חזקה ומכובדת ביותר ולגבי הסוללה, כל שואב מכיל סוללת ליתיום-יון שהינה סוללה עם אורך חיים מאוד ארוך. בבדיקות שנערכו, גילו כי גם אחרי שתטעינו את הבטרייה 500 מחזורים, היא עדיין תעבוד ב-80% קיבולת (במילים פשוטות, אם למשל בהתחלה הסוללה הספיקה ל-100 דקות עבודה, אחרי 500 מחזורים היא תספיק ל-80 דקות עבודה - הנתונים כמובן רק להמחשה).

 

Now, I know what is going through your heads..

You are probably thinking this vacuum doesn't have sufficient power, because it is not connected to power or its battery might run out quickly, but no.

I felt the suction power of the vacuum cleaner and it felt really powerful and the battery - every vacuum contains lithium-ion battery which lasts for a long time. In tests, they found our that even after charging the battery for the 500 time, only then it will start working with only 80% of its capacity (meaning, if for instance you got at first 100 minutes of work, after 500 cycles you will get 80 minutes of work).

What's so good about this cordless vacuum cleaner?

* Less entanglements while cleaning - without cords, there is no fear of stumbling when wanting to unplug the power for example.

הפיצ'רים אינם קיימים בכל שואב, ומחיר השואבים השוכבים נע בין 1,990-2,790 ש"ח וכולל 10 שנות אחריות לחלקי המנוע.

The new series of LG vacuum cleaners include 2 main products, where the lying vacuum cleaner splits into variety of levels and functions.
I Will start with the lying vacuum cleaner-
In LG's new vacuum cleaners you can find, in addition to the lithium battery and inverter engine, robosense - the body of the vacuum cleaner moves around automatically and follows the handle , so you don't have to drag it after you.
Moreover, you will find in it a unique dust compression technology (a kompressor, an unbreakable tank, made of polycarbonate), which allows more dust to be gathered in the tank (thus not needing to empty the tank so often), and the compressor compresses the dust into a huge dust ball, so when you empty the tank there won't be so much mess like in regular vacuum cleaners.
Another accessories: a suction accessory for the floor and carpet, 4 stages HEPA carbon filter, which filters 99.999% of the germs with the British allergy foundation seal of approval and a 2 in 1 brush (no need for extra accessories).
In terms of actual working time: after fully charging the battery (about 4 hours), in regular power the device will work for 40 minutes, in default mode it will work for 25 minutes and in full power it will work for 17 minutes.
Not all of the features are included in each vacuum, and the price ranges between 1990-2790 NIS and includes 10 year parts warranty.

Another new vacuum cleaner of LG is the cord zero handstick which comes in three colors: chrome, shiny red and shiny blue.
This unique product seems very successful and will be sold now for Passover cleans at the price or 999 NIS.
The handstick vacuum cleaner comes with 2 lithium cells, which means this is a product with non-stop battery. If you run out of one of the batteries, you have the other one to keep cleaning, so you can vacuum for a long time - until an hour in regular power and for 40 minutes in full power.
The handstick vacuum of LG you can find an anti-tangle technology, a technology which reduces the amount of hairs that are being stuck in the brushes - a special hook captures the hairs between the brush and the suction nozzle.
Other qualities: 2 in 1 - manual vacuum removable for spot cleaning or a stand vacuum, a built-in brush without the need for extra equipment, led fixture that makes it easier to vacuum in dark places, the vacuum stands on its own, without the need of a wall or your hand, the handle bar is comfortable for maneuvers, the vacuum head rotates 180 degrees, which makes it easier to get under furniture and corners and battery status indicator.
The wireless stand vacuum also comes with 10 year parts warranty.
