Homemade cocoa-halva ice cream

Two weeks ago I received to review products that are all related to picnic food.

The products are sauerkraut, home-pressed mixed vegetables, raw tahini, sweet corn kernels, and cookies, all from the brand of Shufersal.
I made a delicious treat with the raw tahini.

We tried some of the products. The corn kernels of Shufersal were excellent. And the cookies, which I took filled with chocolate, that resembled the Argalyot of Osem, disappeared quite fast.

The raw tahini was excellent as a base to a homemade halva ice cream, recipe follows. The ice cream flavor is quite dominant, so if you don't like the taste of tahini much, use less of it in the recipe.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sweetened whipping cream
1/2 cup raw tahini
3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
4 Tbsp. instant vanilla pudding
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder, sifted
1/2 cup sweetened whipping cream

Preparation:
Whip the 1/2 cup whipping cream to a steady foam.
Whip together the first four ingredients and fold to the whipped cream.

Add the cocoa, and fold just until blended.
Place in the freezer for the night and serve with chocolate syrup or as is, enjoy!
