חודש שעבר היינו באילת והגענו לחוף חנניה, כי הוזמנתי להתנסות באחת מהאטרקציות שהמקום מציע.

Last month we were in Eilat, and we went to Hananya beach because I was invited to review one of their attractions.

At first, we thought to go on the Jules Verne - a glass ship that sails in the area with a translucent bottom deck that you can see what's going on under the sea. Through a two hour course, you will enjoy what the sea has to offer and from the dolphin reef and the coral reserve.

1. זה כיף! כולם יושבים ביחד, נהנים מהנוף ומפטפטים. בסירה יש מערכת מוזיקה המאפשרת לחבר את הפלאפון עם כבל AUX המסופק במקום ולהנות בים עם מוזיקה טובה וחברה מעולה.

2. אתם מחליטים לאיפה לשוט (כמעט בלי גבולות). אומנם ניתן לשוט עד גבול מסויים, אך עדיין לכם יש את השליטה על ההגה והאפשרות לשוט לאיזה כיוון שתבחרו.

So why you should row row row your boat (powerboat)?

1. Because it is fun! You get the chance to sit all together, enjoy the scenery and chat. There's a music system on board that allows you to connect your cellphone using an AUX cable that is provided on site and enjoy the sea with good music and good company.

2. You decide where to cruise (almost limitless). Though you can cruise to a certain point, you still have the ability to control the wheel and sail to any direction you prefer.

3. כי אולי תוכלו להגיד שנתקעתם בלב ים, אבל בלי כל הפאניקה כי בקלות יכולים לאתר אתכם ולבוא לחלץ אתכם.

בסירות יש מערכת GPS שבמקרה ונתקעתם בים, ידעו למצוא אתכם ולחלץ אתכם. המצחיק זה שזו הפעם הראשונה שלי שבה שטתי בסירת מנוע וזו גם הפעם הראשונה (ואני מקווה שגם האחרונה) שנתקעתי בלב ים. בשלב כלשהו גילינו שהסירה פשוט זוחלת ובקושי זזה. טילפנו אל המספר שמצויין על הסירה ושלחו אלינו צוות הצלה שגרר אותנו חזרה לחוף מבטחים. מסתבר שהלך המדחף, דבר שקורה 1 ל-2000 שעות ולנו זה קרה... למרות הכול, היה באמת חוויה כיפית.

4. ניתן להיכנס למים ולצאת יבשים - אתם בתוך הסירה בלב ים ואלא אם כן חלפה לידכם סירה שהשפריצה עליכם כהוגן או הגיע(ה) גל גדות (סתם גדול :-) ), אתם תצאו יבשים.

3. Because you might say you got stuck in the middle of the sea, but without panicking because you can be traced and rescued easily.

The boats have GPS system installed on them, and if you happen to get stranded at sea, they will know where to find you and rescue you. The funny part is that this is my first-time power boating and also my first (and hopefully the last) time stuck in the sea. At some point we found out that our boat is going way too slow, and barely cruising. We called the number on board and they sent us a rescue team that towed our boat to safety. Apparently, the propeller died, a thing that happens 1 to 2000 hours and it happened to us. Even though, it was a fun experience.

4. You can enter the sea and stay dry - you're in a  boat at the heart of the sea, and unless another boat just came across you and splashed on you or a huge wave appeared, you'll come out of this experience dry.
