Yofix, The Israeli start-up that started its way in the foodtech greenhouse by Strauss, The Kitchen, is coming to the British market.

The new revolutionary yogurts of Yofix, the Yo'ridge, will be exported to the United Kingdom under the brand "The Real Foodists." And, pretty soon, Yofix will distribute it in Israel too.

So what is so revolutionary about the new Yo'ridge of Yofix?

The Yo'ridge products are a series of plant-based yogurts made of quality ingredients. The yogurts contain pieces of oatmeal and probiotic, just as you will find in dairy yogurt.
The products do not contain white sugar, no preservatives, no food coloring, and not soy-based.

So far in Israel, we met Yofix's start-up in the shape of the vegan yogurt ONLY. I wrote about it on my "new on the shelf no. 38" corner, but the article is only in Hebrew for now.

And basically, the new series is based on the same principle as in the ONLY yogurt. To make the non-dairy yogurt, Yofix didn't use any soy related ingredients. They based the product on four raw materials: oatmeal, lentil, sesame, and coconut.

The new series of Yo'Ridge offers three flavors: Banana maple and cocoa beans, apple, cranberries and cinnamon, and blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

Yo'Ridge comes from the words Yogurt and Porridge. Porridge is popular around the world, served as breakfast or a snack. And the Yo'ridge is packed in an attractive package and the shape of a breakfast bowl.

It is the first time Yofix product is marketed overseas, and it happens after a pilot carried out in February before the Corona.
The product will be marketed in around 80 convenience stores and health stores around London by a local distribution team. Soon, Yofix will distribute it in the Green branches by Shufersal in Israel.
The retail price of one unit of 125 grams Yo'ridge is 1.69-1.99 pounds.

Steve Grun, Yofix CEO, said: "The milk substitute market has been gaining momentum in Israel as in the world when dairy companies seek to handle the slowdown in milk consumption by creating alternatives and deepening the appeal to lactose-sensitive consumers or those who prefer to reduce or avoid milk consumption. One of the investors who joined Yofix in the funding round held last February was the German Muller group. In the last two rounds of the recruitment, the start-up raised about 4.5 million dollars to expand Yofix's activity beyond Israel."
