The holy city Jerusalem, a city that is important to every religion, offers two attractions you should know about: the first - The time traveler "I am Jerusalem" that addresses all religions and the second - the Hebrew music museum (but still suitable for everyone).

הוזמנתי לסקר את שתי האטרקציות החדשות בירושלים, אז עליתי ירושלימה עם המשפחה והתחלנו את ביקורנו באטרקצייה החדשה "אני ירושלים".
מגיעים לקניון ממילא, מומלץ לחנות בחניון הצהוב (שעה ראשונה חינם) שהוא יותר קרוב לאטרקציה. יוצאים מהמעליות של החנייה לשדרות אלרוב ושם נכנסים לקניון (תראו שלטים של האטרקציה על הבניין), יורדים לקומה 1- (במעלית כתוב 2- :-) ) ומגיעים למקום. 

האטרקציה החדשה היא חווית מולטימדיה המשלבת מסכי ענק, כסאות זזים, סאונד מצויין וצבעוניות. הסרט שאורכו כ-25  דקות משמש כקפסולת זמן ומחולק לשלושה חלקים: עבר, הווה ועתיד. תלמדו מעט על ההיסטוריה של ירושלים בשילוב רקע ומתן כבוד לכל הדתות הקשורות לירושלים, תגיעו להווה המאוד צבעוני ומוצג לפעמים באופן משעשע ולעתיד - לרצון בשלום שטרם הגיע.

I was invited to review these two new attractions in Jerusalem, so I went with my family and we started our visit in the "I am Jerusalem" attraction.

You get to Mamila mall, it is recommended to park in the yellow parking lot (1st hour free) which is closer to the attraction. You get out of the elevator and go to Elrov boulevard, go into the mall (you'll see signs of the attraction on the building), you go down to -1 floor (at the elevator it says -2 :-) ) and you're there.

The attraction is a multimedia experience that combines large screens, moving chairs, excellent sound and colorfulness. The movie is about 25 minutes and uses as a time capsule that is divided to 3 parts: past, present and future. You will learn a bit about the history of Jerusalem with a background and respect to the religions related to the holy city, you'll get into the very colorful present that sometimes presented in a very amusing way and to the future - to the peace that everyone awaits for.

In the future there will be more movies screened, the first that is already filmed is the Israeli start up nation and later maybe a movie from a bird's perspective, resembles soaring over California from Disneyland.

לאחר מכן, המשכנו לאטרקציה החדשה - מוזיאון המוסיקה העברי.
לפני שישר תקפצו ותגידו : "ללכת למוזיאון?!" אז כן, כדאי לכם מאוד!
מוזיאון המוסיקה העברי הינו מוזיאון המאגד בתוכו את המורשת המוזיקלית של העם היהודי. זהו מוזיאון אינטראקטיבי שאתם וילדיכם בטוח תהנו ממנו.
מוזיאון המוזיקה העברי הוא היחידי מסוגו בארץ ובעולם. במוזיאון תוכלו לראות מקבץ מרשים של כלי נגינה עתיקים ומקוריים משבעה תפוצות עיקריות, כאשר לכל תפוצה חלל ייחודי משלה המעוצב באופן מרשים.
אך מה חסר בד"כ במוזיאונים? היכולת לגעת וכאן תוכלו לחוות את המוזיאון בדרך יוצאת מהכלל. תוכלו לשחק במגוון משחקים אינטראקטיביים, לשמוע את הצלילים השונים, לנשוף בשופר וכלים נוספים (מה שמאפשר לכם לשמוע את קולו ולראות במסך מולכם למה הנשיפה שלכם גרמה) ולהסתובב עם טאבלט ולשמוע מפי סבא לוי (דמות ציורית) הסברים ומידע על כלי המוזיקה, הפיוט והשירה בתפוצות השונות.

Later we went to the second attraction - The Hebrew music museum and before you jump and say : "going to a museum?!" then yes, you should!

The Hebrew music museum gathers under one roof the musical heritage of the Jewish people.  This is an interactive museum that you and your kids will surely enjoy.

The music museum is one of his kind in Israel and the world.

In the museum you could see an impressive collection of antique and original instruments from 7 main dispersions, when each dispersion has its own beautifully designed unique place.
So what is missing when you go to a museum? the ability to touch and here you can experience the museum in an unusual way. You can play in interactive games, hear the different sounds, blow a horn and other instruments (which allows you to hear its voice and see a what you did in a screen in front of you) and go with a tablet through the museum and hear from grandpa Levy (a cartoon) explanations and information about the instruments, poetry and songs of the different dispersions.

לקראת סוף הסיור תוכלו לראות מיצג מרשים של בית המקדש ועמדה עם משקפי אוקולוס של מציאות מדומה הלוקחת אתכם ברחבי בית המקדש, חוויה מדהימה ומרתקת שאורכת כ-7-8 דקות. ישנו רגע שבו עולים במעין מעלית שקופה ואני שאיני חובבת גבהים כל כך, אחזתי במעקה האמיתי בחוזקה ואף שקלתי להוריד את משקפי המציאות המדומה לרגע :-) .
בזמן שאנחנו חיכינו בתור לראות את בית המקדש במשקפי מציאות מדומה, היו כמה צרפתים שהתנסו בחוויה ולא הפסיקו להגיד אוללה ובנפיק.
במקום חנות מזכרות מקסימה שבה קנינו מזוזה חמודה של סבא לוי.
המוזיאון פתוח בימי א - ה: 9:30-17:30, ו: 9:30-13:00
המוזיאון ממוקם ברחוב יואל משה סלומון 10, ירושלים ומחיר כרטיס כ-50 ש"ח.
ביום ירושלים (היום) המוזיאון פתוח עד 22:00 ובמחיר מוזל של 30 ש"ח.
משך סיור בין 40-60 דקות.

Towards the end of the tour you can see a very impressive exhibit of the temple and a with virtual reality oculus glasses that takes you through the temple, an amazing and fascinating experience that lasts 7-8 minutes. There is a moment where you go up in a transparent elevator and because I'm not much of a height fan, I held the real banister tight and even considered taking the virtual glasses off :-) .
At the time we waited in live for the experiment, there were a group of French people who tried it and said a lot od oulala and benefique.

On site there is a lovely gift shop, where we bought a nice Mezuza of grandpa Levy.
The museum opening hours: Sun - Thus: 9:30-17:30, Fri: 9:30-13:00.
The museum is located in 10 Yoel Moshe Salomon, Jerusalem and price tickets are 50NIS.
In Jerusalem day (today) the museum is open until 22:00 (10 PM) and you can purchase a discounted ticket for 30NIS.
Tour time: 40-60 minutes.
