ביקורת: קפה פלפלת - Review: Pilpelet cafe

הגענו לקפה פלפלת, בית קפה הממוקם במרכז פנורמה בחיפה.

We arrived to Pilpelet café, located in Panorama center in Haifa.

הזמנו כמה מנות מהתפריט, כאשר עבור הסקירה קיבלתי הנחה בתשלום.
בתחילה הזמנו לכל אחד מאיתנו מילקשייק שוקו (24 ש"ח), אייס קפה גרוס (20 ש"ח) וכוס מיץ תפוזים טבעי (16 ש"ח). השייקים טעימים ומורגש כי הם איכותיים ומוכנים במקום.

We ordered some dishes from the menu, I was given a discount for the review.

At first we each ordered a drink: Choco milkshake (24 NIS), crushed iced coffee (20 NIS) and a cup of fresh squeezed orange juice (16 NIS). The shakes were delicious and felt that they are of a good quality and freshly made.

כמישהי שמאוד אוהבת דגים, וגם המלצרית במקום המליצה לנסות את מנות הדג, החלטנו לנסות כמה מנות המכילות דגים:
בייגל טוסט נורבגי (46 ש"ח) - סלמון מעושן, מוצרלה, גבינת שמנת ובצל ספרדי.
דעתי: בייגל טעים עם טעם מעושן המורגש היטב בכל ביס.

As someone who likes to eat fish, and with the waitress recommendation of the fish dishes, we decided to try several fish dishes:

Norwegian bagel toast (46 NIS) - smoked salmon, mozzarella, cream cheese and Spanish onion.

My opinion: The bagel was tasty with a distinctive smoked flavor that is felt on each bite.

פילה סלמון אפוי ומתובל בשמן זית, מלח, פלפל גרוס, טימין טרי ושקדים קלויים עם שתי תוספות לבחירה. אנחנו בחרנו בתוספת צ'יפס בטטה ותוספת אורז (78 ש"ח).
דעתי: פילה הסלמון היה עסיסי וטעים. הצ'יפס בטטה היה מושלם ולא הורגש שהוא טוגן בשמן והאורז היה אורז קלאסי רגיל וטעים.

Baked Salmon fillet seasoned with olive oil, salt, crushed pepper, fresh thyme and roasted almonds with two side dishes. We went on the sweet potato fries and the rice (78 NIS).

My opinion: The salmon fillet was juicy and tasty. The sweet potato fries were perfect and didn't feel like they were swimming in a bath of oil and the rice was a regular tasty classic rice.

פילה אמנון צלוי ברוטב שמן זית, שום ולימון עם שתי תוספות לבחירה, כאשר אנחנו בחרנו תוספת תפו"א בגריל ותוספת ירקות מאודים (68 ש"ח).
דעתי: פילה האמנון היה עשוי היטב עם עסיסיות נפלאה, אך היה חסר לו תיבול. תפוח האדמה היה קריספי ומושלם והירקות היו טעימים.

Tilapia roasted fillet with olive oil sauce, garlic and lemon and two additional side dishes. We chose to take this time the grilled baked potato and the steamed vegetables (68 NIS).

My opinion: The tilapia fillet was juicy and made wonderfully, however it lacked seasoning. The potatoes were cripes and perfect and the veggies were tasty.

המנה האחרונה שהחלטנו להזמין הייתה מנת לזניה גבינות (52 ש"ח) - עלי פסטה, מוצרלה, ריקוטה, פרמזן ברוטב עגבניות מוקרם בתנור, מעוטר בעלי ריחן ואורגנו.
דעתי: שמתי לב שבהרבה מקומות, וגם כאן, מחיר הלזניה הוא מאוד יקר וחבל. ציפינו מאוד לטעום מהלזניה, אך היא הייתה הכי פחות טעימה בעינינו. היה לה טעם חזק ומאוד משתלט שלא היה לטעמנו.

The last dish we ordered was cheese lasagna (52 NIS) - pasta leaves, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan with tomato sauce creamed in the oven, garnished with basil leaves and oregano.

My opinion: I've noticed that in many restaurants, and also here, when you order a lasagna dish, it is quite expansive and it is too bad. We were really looking to try this dish, but it was our least favorite. It had a dominant flavor that was really overpowering to our taste.

קפה פלפלת הוא בית קפה מסעדה חמוד הממוקם בקניון קטן ליד מלון דן פנורמה והוא מקום נחמד לבלות בו עם המשפחה. אם אתם נהנים מתוכניות אוכל, תוכלו להנות מארוחה וסוג כלשהו של סרט שכן במקום ישנה טלוויזיה המקרינה תוכניות בישוך. המחירים במקום הם מחירים די סטנדרטיים כמו בהרבה מסעדות. בבית הקפה תוכלו למצוא גם מנות שילדים קטנים ו"ילדים" בליבם אוהבים (ספגטי/פסטה ברוטב, ארוחת בוקר לילדים, פרנץ' טוסט ועוד), מנות טבעוניות (קציצת ירק, כריך טבעוני, סלט טופו, צ'יפס בטטה ועוד), מבחר מנות מהמטבח האיטלקי, טוסטים, כריכים, דגים, סלטים וקינוחים.
קפה פלפלת כשר בהשגחת הרבנות המקומית.
שעות פעילות: א-ה: 7:00-21:00, ו-7:00 עד שעה לפני כניסת השבת.

Pilpelet coffee house is a nice café located in a small mall near Dan Panorama hotel and is a very nice place to hang out with your family. If you enjoy cooking shows, you can enjoy a dinner and a some sort of movie, because there is a TV in the café area that airs cooking shows. The prices are quite standard comparing to most of the restaurants nowadays. You can also find in the coffee shop meals for young and young in their hearts kids (spaghetti/pasta with a sauce, kids' breakfast, French toast etc.), vegan dishes (veggie patty, vegan sandwich, tofu salad, sweet potato fries etc.), Italian cuisine dishes, toasts, sandwiches, fish, salads and desserts.

Pilpelet café is kosher by the local rabbinate.

Opening hours: Sun-Thu: 7:00AM-9:00PM, Fri: 7:00AM to a hour before Shabbos.
