I've made Marble Brownies from the "Taste Of Home - American Cookout" Issue.
The recipe is made initially for microwave, but because I didn't have a microwave-safe dish - I made this recipe in the oven.
I recommend eating the brownies as soon as possible after they are out of the oven and chilled enough so you could still enjoy those melted chocolate chips. If the chocolate chips aren't that way, just heat the brownie in the microwave for about 25 seconds - Yummy!

Ingredients:
For the chocolate layer:
5 Tbsp. butter (= 70 gram (2.5oz.)) - I used 50 gram(1.8oz.)
60-grams (2.1oz.) bittersweet chocolate
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder (I've omitted)
For the cheese layer:
1 package cream cheese (225 gram / 8oz.)
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation:
Heat oven for 170C / 338F.
Prepare the chocolate layer:
Melt chocolate and butter together.
Mix the eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract.
Mix the eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract.
Add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
Spread into a greased pan.
Prepare the cheese layer:
In a microwave, heat the cream cheese for about 45 seconds - until soft.
Add the egg, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well and place over the chocolate layer.
Cut through batter with a knife to swirl. Spread the chocolate chips over the cheese layer.
Bake in the oven for about 33 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Set aside until chilled and have a bite :)
