Trying some attractions in Manara Cliff

Manara cliff is in the Naftali mountains, located in the upper Galilee in Israel, at an altitude of 2460 feet.

On the site, you'll find many attractions, from fun and relaxing activities to Extreme activities that will boost your adrenaline.

I was invited to review the place, but sadly I chose the wrong
day to visit because most of the attractions are open on the weekend, and we arrived earlier in the week.

The site is closed on Sundays for maintenance, and if you do prefer visiting earlier in the week, then call Manara cliff and check which activities are open (Contact info below).

With the variety of activities on the cliff, you can enjoy there an entire day.

We started the day in the cable car, which is the longest one in Israel - about 1.242 miles long.

You can get to the site, from the upper cable car or the bottom one.

We arrived from the upper one, and so we experienced the descending first, which for me, was very intense.

I don't like closed places, I don't like heights and each time we passed the polls that hold the cable car, I screamed, but the spectacular views were worth every shout!

From the cable car, you can see the Rappelling area, which is 137 feet high.

We thought whether to try it or not, well not me but the others in the group. But they were relieved they didn't need to confront their fears.


Additionally, you can see the 656 feet long zip line, that I'd probably have done because it would be over before I know it :-)

On the lower station, you'll find trampolines and mountain slides.

The slides are not suited for pregnant women, People with back pains, and some handicaps.

In every slide, there's a place for two passengers. However, you can slide on your own.

During the line, you'll watch a short guidance video, and then you'll enter the slide, buckle your safety belt, and start the ride, still as a passenger.




You'll get to a point where you would have to wait a couple of minutes to keep a safe distance between the different slides, and then off you go.

Now you can use the handlebar that only the passenger in the back can handle and brake if you are too afraid of the speed.

The slides speed real fast, and they are such a fun and great attraction that we had to do them again.

If you're looking for other activities, you can climb on a climbing wall, shoot a bow and arrow, Play water paintball, take a ride on the cliff train or on foot or enjoy a nice picnic with the amazing scenery.
