Ooja bread latkes are very easy to make and taste so good. They are the perfect vegetarian dish.
They are really simple to make, just make sure not to make them too thick as the middle might stay raw.
This recipe uses ingredients from things that are always found in your house and pantry.
You can use plain bread, buns, or challah, as I did.
Recipe adapted from Pascal Peretz Robin's Ooja recipe.
Ingredients:
3 slices of bread, soaked and squeezed
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. spicy paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cumin
Oil for frying
Preparation:
Place the bread in a bowl and mix with the eggs and seasoning.
Heat a pan with oil and pour the mixture using a tablespoon.
Flatten the latkes, so they will be cooked well inside.
Fry on both sides and Enjoy!
