While taking a walk in the path, you'll encounter interesting info signs (some in English too):
After a couple of minutes, you'll get to the ruins of the synagogue.
This synagogue is dated to the second until the fourth century, and the only thing that was left standing is the Entrance.
Near the archeological diggings of the ancient synagogue, there are benches that you can sit around and look over the Arbel cliff that is found on the opposite side. When we visited years ago, you could walk between the ruins. However, nowadays you can only peek on them through the balcony above.
I love historic places, especially the ones that you can see any remnants.
The place is lovely, and it is best visiting in March when it is still not too warm, and the flowers haven't withered.
The path to the ancient synagogue is concise, easy, and accessible for people with disabilities (not suitable for a wheelchair).
And since I saw this cute little chameleon that stopped by, I had to do her a book :-)
About 10 minutes from Tiberius, you can find moshav of Arbel. Near the moshav entrance, you'll find a road to the left that leads to Arbel cliff and the ancient synagogue.
You can see the cliff from the road or drive up to the hill and reach a paying booth.

We settled with the views from the road and then went to the ancient synagogue.
The entrance to the synagogue, or should I say its ruins, is from the same road.
To get to the ruins, you'll need to walk in a short path that is not suitable for handicaps with a wheelchair.
