לפני שהאוכל נכנסנו לגופנו, הדבר הראשון שלוכד את תשומת הלב שלנו זה המראה שלו. אוכל צבעוני, ססגוני, טרי ויפהפה ימשוך אותנו לנסות אותו. בתערוכת הcolorfood נלכדה בעיני העדשה של הצלם דן לב ועילית אנגל ביחד עם חברת נעמן יצירת אומנות קולינרית.
הוזמנתי לסקר את תערוכת הקולורפוד, בה נחשפו יצירות אומנות קולינריות של מיטב השפים בארץ. 15 שפים ישראליים לקחו חלק בתערוכת צילום אוכל יצירתית שאת יצירותיה הציגו במשרדים החדשים של חברת נעמן בעיר ראש העין.
תערוכת הקולורפוד של נעמן 2019 היא תערוכה מושלמת לאוהבי האוכל והצילום כאחד המשלבת יחדיו את תחומי האוכל, העיצוב והאומנות.
בתערוכה הוצגו יצירות אומנות אישיות של מנות שהכין כל שף במטבחו האישי. יצירות האומנות הכילו מגוון צבעים, סגנונות, השראות ומאפיינים הממחישים ומכניסים אותנו אל עולמו של כל שף. כל מנה צולמה בצורה מעוררת תאבון ומראה כל כך חי ומרשים על כלי האוכל וההגשה של חברת נעמן.
כל יצירה עברה תהליך גיבוש, החל מההתלבטויות השונות סביב המנה והטעימות בשילוב ספונטניות ודינאמיות ועד לקבלת התוצר הסופי והמרשים המוצג בצילומים בתערוכה.
The food photographer Dan Lev alongside his partner Ilit Engel created this impressive project, where you take food into a personal place and create a masterpiece out of it. The idea behind this display is to show food through matter and color. The colorfood exposition has crossed the borders of Israel long ago and has succeeded abroad.
Between the Israeli chefs that contributed their part in creating the different works you can find: Asaf Granit (Naaman presenter, "kitchen revolution", "Chef's games"), Haim Cohen (Master Chef Israel judge), Eran schwartzbard (Top Israeli pastry chef), Tomer Balas (the bread man), Tom Frantz (Winner of Master Chef Israel season 3), Nof Atamna-Ismaeel (Winner of Master Chef season 4), Shay Li Lipa, Maya Derin, Lior Mashiah, Meidan Siboni (the sushi master of Israel), Amir Cahlon, Avi Steinitz (Top Israeli chef), Barak Aharoni, Barak Yehezkeli and Avivit Priel Avihai.
Every photo has a cause
The pictures at the 2019 colorfood exhibition are offered for sale. Each photo will be sold about 4-5 times, and all revenues are donated to make a wish association.
Dvir Benedek, known for Mizrahi-Tefahot bank advertisement, is the chairman of make a wish Israel company, a non-profit organization which fulfills wishes for children aged 3-18 suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
The organization started its way at the US in 1980 by a community of people who came together to fulfill the dream of Chris Greiciu, a seven-year-old that was diagnosed with leukemia cancer and wanted to be a cop for a day.
The association represents over 50 states worldwide and on every state in the United States. On 1996 the group came to Israel, and since then over 4000 wishes came true in Israel and over 415,000 wishes came true worldwide thanks to donors and over 40,000 volunteers.

Before the food gets into our body, the first thing that captures our attention is its look. Colorful, picturesque, fresh and beautiful food attracts us to try it. The colorfood exhibition caught in the eyes of the lens of photographer Dan Lev and Ilit Engel along with Naaman company presents a culinary work of art.

I was invited to review the colorfood exhibit, where the culinary arts of the best chefs in Israel revealed. 15 Israeli chefs took part in the artistic and creative food display that took place in Naaman new offices in Rosh Ha'ayin.

בתערוכה הוצגו יצירות אומנות אישיות של מנות שהכין כל שף במטבחו האישי. יצירות האומנות הכילו מגוון צבעים, סגנונות, השראות ומאפיינים הממחישים ומכניסים אותנו אל עולמו של כל שף. כל מנה צולמה בצורה מעוררת תאבון ומראה כל כך חי ומרשים על כלי האוכל וההגשה של חברת נעמן.

Personal work of art was displayed in the exhibition, showing the dishes each chef made at its own kitchen. The artworks were composed of various colors, styles, inspirations, and features that illustrate and introduce us to the world of every chef. Each dish was captured in an appealing manner and such a vivid and impressive look upon the food and serving dishes by Naaman.
Each creation has undergone a process of formation, starting from the dilemmas surrounding the dish and its taste, combined with spontaneity and dynamics, to the final and impressive product presented in the photographs in the exhibition.

בין התמונות הוצגו ידי השפים-אומנים האוחזים בחומר הגלם שהיווה השראה למנה ובצד השני ניתן היה למצוא את יצירות האומנות שהם הכינו עם אותו חומר גלם. כל שף מציג את העולם הקולינרי ממנו הוא בא, עם הצבעים המתאימים לו, הטעמים המאפיינים אותו והיצירתיות שלו. בין התמונות ניתן לראות יצירות וחומרי גלם מתחום הלחמים, הדגים, הפירות, הירקות, השוקולד ועוד.
מבקרי התערוכה יכלו להנות מאוכל טוב לצד צילומים מרהיבים וצפייה בסרטון המאפשר הצצה למאחורי הקלעים של כל יצירה.

Among
the photos, one side showed the hands of the chef-artists that were
presented holding the raw material that inspired the creation of the
dish, and on the other side, you could see the art of work that was made
using that material. Every chef presents his culinary world with the
colors that suit him, the flavors that characterize him and his
creation. Through the photos, you could spot productions and raw
materials such as bread, fruit, vegetable, chocolate and more.
The visitors of the exhibit could have enjoyed good food alongside spectacular images and watching a behind the scenes video of making each work of art.
