Moist Nile perch with couscous

I really love couscous served with fish.

The Nile perch is a fish that become really moist and tender after cooking, and it goes well with couscous and veggies.

I used instant couscous for this dish that you only need to add water. But if you want to challenge yourself, you can try to make it from scratch using semolina.

Ziva

A Ziva is a Puff pastry filled with various kinds of cheeses and veggies and rolled into half-circle shape.

It's kinda like burekas.

I've decided to fill my Ziva with fetta cheese, onion, mushroom, and olives.

You can fill with any filling that you want, you can even turn it into a kinda sweet Ziva and fill with chocolate and cream cheese., or just a burekas dessert filled with chocolate.

Strawberries and whipped cream

I actually don't quite like fruits with any kind of dessert, at least that's what I thought.

I've decided to give some fruit-desserts a try and I can honestly say that it's not that bad.

I love strawberries so much, just give me a bowl of strawberries and a plate with sugar to dip them and I'm all set.

But sometimes, you gotta try other things and make something new ( new for me of course, 'cause I bet you ate strawberries and cream plenty of times).

I've made a simple dessert of strawberries and cream that for me was so yummy hope you'll enjoy too.

Mini black forest cake

A black forest cake is made out of tough layers filled with whipped cream and cherries.

I've decided to upgrade the cake by making the layer out of brownie.

We actually don't quite like cherries and all sorts of jams in our cakes, so I made some cakes without any touch of fruits.

The two versions came out really good, but the fruitless one was the One for us.

Potato and sweet potato pancakes

In my family, we really love all those starchy vegetables.

Potato pancakes are a classic that mostly you'll make in Chanukah.

I upgraded the classic recipe a little bit with sweet potato and grated onion, and the result satisfied our taste buds.

As you will see, the recipe is very simple, and I really love those "throw everything to the bowl" kind of recipes, but still, I love challenging and creative recipes as you can and will see in my blog.

Chicken kiev

Chicken Kiev is a very simple, yet elegant dish made out of the pounded chicken breast, filled with margarine and herbs, rolled, coated with bread crumbs and fried or baked.

I saw in a cooking show that the chef fried the rolls and then baked them so that's exactly what I did.

Chocolate pie

I Saw this pie recipe on a cookbook named "Cake of the week" from the "La'isha" (to the woman) magazine.

The recipe sounded just great and looked so yummy, so with mild changes to the crust, it came out terrific.

Schnitzel Chilli

Schnitzchilli - Chicken breast cut into small chunks and with some seasoning and sweet chili sauce, of course, thus the name, you get a healthy burger.

Quesadilla

I love Quesadilla. Without any effort, you can make one heck of a breakfast/dinner.

I filled my quesadilla with chickpeas, grated cheese, canned tuna, olives, and onion.

It came out delicious!

Two ingredients chocolate cake

I Came across this beautiful cake recipe on a lovely French blog.

I was a bit skeptical about this cake, because how can it be a cake with neither butter, sugar nor flour.

However, I already tried another recipe from that blog, and it came out great, so I went for it.

The cake turned out really moist and delicious.

Twinkies

I've never tasted a Twinkie but figured out that with the right filling and cake, I could make one hell of a Twinkie wannabe.

I've made a cake out of Pillsbury vanilla cake mix and filled

them with Marshmallow cream I've prepared.

Mushroom Pie

I love this pie. It's kinda healthy if you set aside the cream :-)

With a salad on the side, you could make a great lunch/dinner.
