Finally, the third quarantine in a year is over, and we can enjoy traveling our country again. This time, the ministry of Jerusalem and heritage, the Jerusalem municipality, the Jerusalem development authority, and the ministry of tourism invite you to a spectacular and colorful event on the Jerusalem nights through the project - "Follow the Lights in Jerusalem." ( I didn't have time to manage my camera photos, so I uploaded the ones we took from the phone for now)

22 iconic structures in Jerusalem will be lit in colorful lights and video displays that will make them a masterpiece. Gil Teichman is responsible for the lights, and Merav Eitan and Gaston Tzohar are responsible for artistic management.

On the selected structures around Jerusalem, lights, video presentations, and laser performance will be projected. Including an exhibit with music in the "Hatahana" complex.

This outdoor exhibit will take place in various locations around Jerusalem, such as the String Bridge at the city entrance, the Supreme Court Bridge, The Knesset, The Israel Museum, The Tower of David, the Commissioner's Palace Promenade. YMCA, the Monster, the khan theater, Sacher Garden, the Cinemateque bridge, "Hatahana Harishona" (The first station), and more.

Since you're going to travel with your private vehicle, there is not much worry from gatherings. A digital guide with suitable music will guide you through the different stations in your own time. You will learn about the various exhibits and places. You will get a recommended route you can follow or chose your path. You can even enjoy an interactive activity through the exhibit's website or order a special pack or delivery from the area's restaurants.

We traveled through all the different exhibits and it yook around 3 hours. Most of the time was due to traffic caused by all the cars. There is a nice side to it, though. Driving behind other cars that making the same route as yours made it feel almost like in the old days.

There is not really a need to watch all of the exhibits. Some you can skip.

So what exhibits are a must-see in the follow the lights project in Jerusalem?

David Tower exhibit is the most beautiful exhibit in my opinion. Alongside you can watch the old city walls exhibit.

Also, go see the Knesset, the comissioner's palace with the beautiful laser show and the great view from the porch, Hamatzleva, the bicycle trail, and the monster only if your kids want to slide and you don't mind the detour.

The monster is located way off from the other exhibits. And if you want to hear music and have some fun, go to the station complex. It was much impressive than I expected.

The minister of Jerusalem and heritage, Rafi Peretz, said: "Dear people of Israel, come and enjoy Jerusalem! Glad we could make the beauty of this special city accessible, according to the guidelines and era. You're in for an amazing experience and a chance to help the businesses that went through a major upheaval and crisis to recover and get stronger! Together we win! We are Expecting you".

The mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, said: "The Jerusalem Municipality is doing its utmost to create activities tailored for the period towards returning to a routine while aiding and encouraging the residents to participate in the national vaccination campaign while promoting and investing in tourism ventures. I'm all hope that with the return to normal, Jerusalem will be the pioneer and will open its gates for domestic and foreign tourists for the benefit of all business owners operating in it".

And that's what you can expect in the various exhibitions around downtown Jerusalem:

The String Bridge: The bridge becomes a tool for sending blessings from Jerusalem with love. Everyone can choose their favorite video and send it to a special friend. The friend will get a message to his phone a GIF with the selected video on the bridge image. The bridge is the most giant Led screen in the capital.

The Israel Museum: Art lovers will enjoy the collections found in the depths of the archives of the museum on a big screen that is located at the entrance of the museum and the parking lot. This show will also be screened on the book hall's dome and the museum's entrance pavilion.

The Commissioner's palace promenade (Armon Hanatziv promenade): In the promenade observation point, you can enjoy a spectacular laser show from six spots around the city that will be aimed directly at the promenade. A soundtrack will accompany the light show.

Jerusalem icons: Many important places that usually don't get the spotlight received it in this exhibit. Among them, you can find the Khan, the First Station, the Monster, the YMCA, the Supreme Court, and the Tower of David.

Car celebration at the station complex: the station complex's parking lot will become a dancing and light complex with music thanks to the car headlights and fun music, you can enjoy dancing in the vehicle.
