Vegan oatmeal and chocolate bar/recipe: con delight
I measured using universal cups and spoons
Ingredients:
1 cup quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup water
1 bag vanilla sugar = 10 gram=0.352 ounce.
1/4 cup canola oil
1 Tbsp. enriched cocoa powder (if not found, use regular cocoa)
Coating:*
52 cacao butter coins
52 cacao paste coins
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180C/356F, turbo.
Mix the dough ingredients and flatten onto a baking pan, covered with
a baking paper.
Bake for 10 minutes and then set aside to cool completely.
Cut into rectangular or squares.
Melt together the cacao butter and cacao paste until completely melted
and combined.
Mix in the powdered sugar and coat the cuts.
Set in the freezer until the coating sets, and that's it.
* Alternatively, you can use bittersweet chocolate and canola oil. The ration is about 100 grams (3.5 oz.) chocolate to 1 teaspoon of oil. Melt together in microwave and coat the bars.
