לי זו הפעם השנייה, וזו חוויה ממש ממכרת וכיפית.

Have you ever drove a kart?

This is the second time for me and it's very fun and addictive.

בפעם הראשונה שעליתי על קארטינג, זה היה בספוקיין בארה"ב ומאוד חששתי מזה. למרות זאת, נכנסתי לקארטינג והתחלתי ליסוע במסלול וזה היה כיף בטירוף.

הפעם הלכנו על מקום בארץ - דן קארטינג בחיפה.

לדן קארטינג שני סניפים בחיפה: האחד מסלול טכני שנמצא בקניון עזריאלי חיפה בחניון בשער כרמל והשני מסלול מהיר שממוקם בחוצות המפרץ.

 

The first time I drove a kart was in Spokane, WA and I was really nervous. However, I entered the kart and started driving the circuit and it was so enjoyable.

This time we went to Dan Karting Haifa, Israel.

Dan karting has two branches in Haifa: A technical circuit that is located in Haifa Azrieli mall in the parking lot of Carmel gate and a fast one located in Hutzot Hamifratz.

 

אנחנו הלכנו על המסלול הטכני, קיבלנו הסבר בחדר ההדרכה, חבשנו קסדות ויצאנו לדרך.

גז רגל ימין, ברקס ברגל שמאל ומתחילים בפנייה ימינה שמגיעים אליה מהר, שלאחריה יש שיקיין (שזו בעצם פנייה ימינה שלאחריה מגיעה פנייה שמאלה , או להפך) שבמסלול זה השיקיין מאט אתכם.

לאחר מכן מגיעה היישורת שבה אתם יכולים לפתוח מצערת מלאה, ושלוש פניות 180 מעלות (בדומה לפרסה) - ימינה, שמאלה וימינה וקו הסיום.

ושוב מתחילים את כל המסלול מחדש, ועל הדרך אפשר להנות מדריפטים נחמדים ולא להנות מהתנגשות לא רצויה.

 

We went on the technical circuit and we got an explanation, wore helmets and started.

Gas on the right foot, brake on the left foot and starting the circuit by arriving to the first right turn real quick and then to a chicane (a turn that starts with a right turn and right after a left turn, or vice versa), which in this circuit will slow you down a bit.

Afterwards you get to the long straight and open full throttle, and then again three 180 degree turns -right, left and right and the finish line.

And then you start all over with chances to make nice drifts and not so nice unwanted collision.

 

משך הזמן שנהגנו בקארטינג הוא כ-10 דקות ומחיר החוויה הוא כ-60 שקלים, אך באתר של דן קארטינג תוכלו למצוא קופוני הנחה.

בנוסף, במקום תוכלו לעשות מירוצי קארטינג, סימולטור מירוץ, מכוניות מתנגשות ועוד.

חוויה ממש כיפית בכלל ובפרט שיש כמה נהגים על המסלול שניתן להתחרות בהם ולנסות להשיג את התוצאה הכי טובה.

 

We drove the kart about 10 minutes and the experience costs about 60NIS (about 15.7$), but you can check Dan karting website, to see if there are any coupons.

In addition, you can do kart races, racing simulator, bumper cars and more.

A really fun experience in general and especially when there are couple of drivers on the circuit that you can try and compete and get the best score.

 

בסוף ראינו את התוצאות שלנו על המסך ומתוך 4 נהגים על המסלול, אני הצלחתי להיות מקום 2 - מכובד, לא?! :-)

 

At the end we saw our scores on a screen and out of 4 drivers, I managed to be on second place - pretty decent, right?! :-)
