White chocolate Unicorn drink recipe

בס"ד

unicorn drink with white chocolate, whipped cream and glitter dust

I wanted to make a sweet and delicious drink that will also be impressive. So I went on making a unicorn-style white chocolate drink, and it came out beautiful, and. of course, tasty.

Before heading back to school, whether in the usual routine, capsules, or learning online, it is always great to pamper with something easy-to-make and delicious.
I saw online that you could make a chocolate drink from white chocolate and milk, so I decided to mix the two ingredients in the quantities that seemed best to me.
This white chocolate unicorn drink is basically a drink on the purity of white chocolate. It is made using white chocolate and milk and white chocolate decorations, marshmallow, and whipped cream.

I was actually aiming for a unicorn in this drink, but it also resembles SnorkMaiden from the moomins, don't you reckon?
Either way, you get a beautiful-looking drink that is sweet and tasty!

I got the drink's colorfulness using the products of the British company, Quality Sprinkles, which I've told you about before.
Among the recipes I used with the company's products, you can find a recipe for homemade magnum ice cream bars, yeast-free doughnuts, Anna, Elsa, and Olaf of "frozen" cake, and many more.

This time I used the gold, purple, and red fairy dust powders of Quality Sprinkles.
I really love the fact that they have many kosher products that do not contain artificial food colorings.
Moreover, these glittery edible powders are suitable for vegans and halal eaters. They are with no added sugar, no gluten, no nuts, no dairy products, no hydrogenated fat, no artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners, and non-GMO.

A few notes before we get started:
* I made this drink in a large glass, but you can certainly make this in small portions so others can enjoy it. This way, you are making it less scrumptious, since you're sharing the calories with others.
*After making the drink, I let it cool. Once it is cooled, I transferred it to the serving glass. It seemed to me that I needed more of the drink, so I added more milk to the drink.
Eventually, it turned out I didn't need to add extra milk, because right after I piped the cream, the drink overflowed. The taste with or without the added milk is excellent, so keep that in mind when making the drink.
*Making this unicorn drink can be an enjoyable activity with kids during vacation or lockdown. Let your kids decorate the cream with sprinkles, marshmallows, and chocolate, and you have yourself a fun celebration.
*You don't have anyone to share this drink with? Just cut the ingredient in half or more.
*A unicorn needs a golden horn. I used the silicone mermaid tail I had in hand and created the horn. Don't have a suitable silicone mold? Just pipe the melted white chocolate using a piping bag on a baking paper to form the horn and freeze.
*I had leftovers from the whipped cream. You can use the leftovers to pipe on cakes, chocolate and coffee drinks or anything you want, or just cut the quantities in the recipe.

White chocolate unicorn-style drink/recipe: con delight
The measurements were made using universal cups and spoons
Ingredients:
For the unicorn horn:
mermaid's tail silicone mold
About 40 grams/1.4 oz. of white chocolate

For the drink:
About 1 1/2 cups of milk
50 grams/1.8 oz. of white chocolate

Unicorn's eyes:
About 20 grams/0.7 oz. bittersweet chocolate

Cream:
1 cup whipping cream
About 2 Tablespoons of instant vanilla pudding

Decorations:
Marshmallow for ears
Golden fairy dust powder by Quality Sprinkles
Red fairy dust powder by Quality Sprinkles
Purple fairy dust powder by Quality Sprinkles

Preparation:
Make the horn first:
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt the chocolate carefully so that you won't burn the chocolate. Melt in intervals of 20-25 seconds, and mix after each time. Continue so, until the chocolate has melted completely.
Then, transfer it to the mermaid's tail mold. Only to the part without the fins (see video tutorial or photo). Tap the mold on the counter to release any stuck air bubbles and place them in the freezer.

Prepare the drink:
Warm the milk in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Then, add in the white chocolate cubes and cover. Let stand for 2 minutes, and then open and mix well. If the chocolate hasn't melted, place in the microwave for a few more seconds.
Once ready, set aside to cool.

Make the unicorn's eyes:
Take the serving glass and place it in the freezer. This is done to make sure that the eyes won't leak to the sides.

While the glass is in the freezer, melt the chocolate. Again, melt in intervals of about 30 seconds each, and mixing after each time.
Once the chocolate is fully melted, let it cool a bit, then transfer to a piping bag and make a tiny hole.

Take the serving glass out of the freezer and pipe on the upper end of the glass unicorn eyes. You'll notice that they are stable quite rapidly, thanks to the frozen glass. However, you still need to place the glass in the freezer again to solidify fully.

Meanwhile, prepare the whipped cream:
Whip the cream with the instant vanilla until you get a stable and stiff cream. Transfer to a piping bag with a star nozzle or any other favorite and assemble the drink.

To assemble the drink:
Take the chocolate unicorn horn from the freezer, and release from the silicone mold. Color it on each side using the golden powder, and set aside.
Take the marshmallow and cut diagonally. Dip the sticky sides of the marshmallow in the gold powder and set aside.

Take the serving glass out of the freezer and pour the drink inside. I wanted the drink to go through the line of the eyes, so I added more milk. However, it turned out to be a mistake.
Since the whipping cream is heavy, once I piped it over the drink, the liquids overflowed. So I recommend doing as you wish, you can add more milk or not. Either way, it is delicious.
To finish, I piped the cream in flower/star shapes.

Then, take the golden chocolate horn and place it on the cream and place the ears alongside it.
Sprinkle red and purple powder on the flower/star pipes, stick a colorful straw and serve.
Enjoy :-)
