This week we were invited and attended the launch of the Harry Potter Festival to celebrate 20 years since the first Hebrew book was published.
Start on floor -1 next to the Renuar store, where some of the attractions of the festival are located. You can watch the genuine exhibits from Harry Potter films that were brought straight from England. You can see in the exhibition, displays such as Harry Potter's glasses, his wand, and the golden Snitch ball. Also, you can find the cloak of invisibility from the deathly hallows movie, Albus Dumbeldor outfit, Gryffindor sword, other wands, the time turner necklace that was used by Hermionie in "Harry Potter 3: The prisoner of Azkaban".

The Harry Potter festival celebrates 20 years of magic in a complex covering 500 square meters and is located in level -1 and level 2 in the Dizengof center mall.
Park in the mall's paid parking lot or the cultural hall parking since those are the best options when you need to find a comfortable parking space.

Moreover, you can take pictures near the Hogwarts castle and the flying car of Arthur Weasly, Ron's father. And if you want, you can have a magnet photo of yourself catching the snitch, hanging out with Ron and Hermionie, wearing the cloak of invisibility and more for a fee of 30 NIS per magnet.
Then you can continue to several workshops for kids where you can experience creating Hogwarts express locomotive using paper folding. You can learn how to swing a wand and cast a spell just like the great magicians, play kahoot, enjoy lectures, movies and more. The full details are found here. You can find free activities as well as paid activities (Bear in mind that some activities need to be pre-registered).

On the second floor, on the Discount bridge, you will find the butterbeer of the three broomsticks inn. The butterbeer copycat is served with no alcohol, and there is also a gluten-free option. For this you will have to pay, I don't know whether the place got a kosher certificate or not. You can also enjoy 8 stands of Nintendo where you can play "Lego Harry Potter" (free of charge).
From there you can go to the massive pop up store. It has more than 300 unique and official Harry Potter merchandise from stores like Toys R Us, Puzzleland, Urbanica, etc. You can find there designed chess game, puzzles, branded shirts and mugs, wands of every kind, Dobby figures and also an exhibit of the sweet Dobby the elf with suitcases and the cage of Hedwig, Harry's pet owl.
The store is imposing, and besides toys, you can find a library and a bookstore with a special edition of the 20 years celebration for Harry Potter.

The shop and its content are designed amazingly, and the only problem is the high prices. However looking doesn't cost any money, right?!
At the end of the stores, you'll discover a pleasant surprise - a complex with the sorting hat that once you wear it on your head, you can hear which house you were assigned. The sorting hat doesn't only make a sound. If you see it from the side, you can see its mouth moving. How Cool!

After you were assigned to a specific house, you will get a certificate of joining that house and a wrist bracelet with the name of the house you were assorted. I was assigned to Hufflepuff which represent dedication, tolerance, and commitment, but I personally wanted to be at Gryffindor :-)

Overall it is a fun experience for every Harry Potter fans out there. And you can definitely enjoy a couple of hours in the different complexes without wasting too much money.
