ביקורת סרט: הנוסע - Movie review" the commuter

השבוע הוזמנתי להקרנת הסרט: "הנוסע" בכיכובו של ליאם ניסן בקולנוע.
על פניו נראה שזה בדיוק כמו הרבה מהסרטים שליאם ניסן מזוהה איתם - ישנה הסתבכות כלשהי בעלילה ודמותו של ליאם ניסן מצילה את המצב.
ולמרות זאת...

This week I was invited to watch the screening of the movie: "The commuter" starring Liam Neeson at the cinema.
It would seem that the film is almost like any other movie played by Liam Neeson - there is some sort of complication in the plot and Liam Neeson's character saves the day.
And Yet...

 

 
הסרט "הנוסע" עוקב אחר דמותו של מייקל מק'ולי, איש מכירות פשוט העושה את דרכו לעבודה בכל יום ברכבת.
הסרט מתחיל בצורה שאני אישית פחות אהבתי - רצף ימים החולפים להם במהרה. בדיעבד, אם תפסידו את הכמה דקות הראשונות של הסרט זה לא נורא, כי די מהר תכנסו ותבינו מה הולך כאן.
אז כמו שאמרתי, מייקל מקולי, איש העסקים הפשוט, מפוטר יום אחד מעבודתו ולא יודע איך להתמודד עם כל החובות הנצברים. הוא נפגש באותו יום עם שותפו דאז מהמשטרה, אלכס מרפי (פטריק ווילסון, המוכר כ"אד וורן" מהסרט "לזמן את הרוע"),  ובעצם עד כאן נורמלי לחלוטין, נכון? ברגע שהוא עולה על הרכבת מתחילות הצרות שמגיעות בצרורות. אישה מסתורית בשם ג'והאנה (ורה פרמיגה, המוכרת כ"לוריין וורן" אשתו של אד מ"לזמן את הרוע") פונה אליו ומציעה לו הצעה עסקית שתקל על חייו מבחינה כלכלית - כל שעליו למצוא זה נוסע ספציפי ברכבת, והוא יקבל אליו כמות מזומנים שבהחלט לא תזיק לו עכשיו ולאדם כמוהו הנוסע כל יום ברכבת ומכיר את כל הנוסעים הקבועים, זו לא אמורה להיות בעיה.

"The commuter" follows the character of Michael MacCauley, A simple salesman who makes his way each day by the train. 

The movie starts in a way that I personally didn't like much - a sequence of days passing by very quickly. In retrospect, if you lose the first couple of minutes of the movie, it won't ruin your movie and you'll still manage to understand everything.

So as I said, Michael MacCauley, the simple businessman, is laid off one day from his job and doesn't know how to handle his huge debts. He meets that day with his former police partner, Alex Murphy (Patrick Wilson, known as Ed Warren from "the conjuring"), and so far completely normal, right? Once he gets on his train back home, then starts the troubles that come in bundles. A mysterious lady named Joanna (Vera Farmiga, known as the wife of Ed Warren, Lorraine Warren, on "the conjuring") addresses him with a business offer that will ease his money issues - All he has to do is find a particular commuter on the train and he will receive amount of dollars that won't harm him and for a man like him who commutes on a daily basis and knows all the regular passenger, this should not be a problem. 

כשהתחלנו לצפות בסרט, הרגשנו שאנחנו צופים שוב בסרט "נון סטופ" שיצא לאקרנים ב-2014 גם כן עם ליאם ניסן ובו הסתבכות דומה, עם חידות ובעיות, רק שבזמנו הכול התרחש במטוס והפעם ברכבת.
אבל כמו שאמרתי קודם, למרות זאת, מדובר בסרט כל כך מהנה וערוך היטב! סרט שמכיל בתוכו גם אקשן, גם מתח וגם מסתוריות ומגיע לו ציון בדיוק כמו קודמו (קיבל 6.6 בIMDB ולדעתי מגיע לו בהחלט את ה-7).
אני אוהבת לנחש מה יהיה בסוף העלילה, והפעם היו לי ניחושים מוצלחים בהתחלה, אולם לקראת סוף הסרט הצליחו לבלבל אותי שכבר שיניתי את דעתי מי הרעים ואת מי צריך למצוא, אז תזכורת לעצמי להבא: לכי עם התחושה הראשונית שלך :-) .
הסרט באורך 144 דקות והוא מוגדר כמותחן, דרמה, מסתורין, אקשן ופשע, ולמעט הדקות הראשונות של הסרט שלא הכי אהבתי, יתר הסרט היה מצויין, מרתק ומותח ולא הרגיש לי ארוך בכלל. מומלץ ושווה צפייה.

When we started watching the movie, we felt like we're watching again the movie "non-stop" that was released on 2014 also starring Liam Neeson and there too was similar complication, with riddles and problems, but only at the time it was on an airplane and now it is on a train.

But as I said earlier, this is an enjoyable movie that is will edited! It contains action, suspense and mystery and it should get a rate just as its predecessor (It got 6.6 by IMDB and should have got in my opinion 7/10).

I love guessing how things will end up, and I had couple of good guesses at first, but towards the end I got all confused and changed my mind who are the bad guys and who are they looking for, so just a reminder to myself: go with your first hunch :-) 

The movie length is 144 minutes and is considered a thriller, drama, mystery crime and action movie, and despite the first couple of minutes that I didn't like much, the rest of the movie was excellent, made you seat at the edge of your seat at times and fascinating and didn't feel too long at all. Very recommended and worth seeing.
