Mask cookies or dipped in chocolate cookies

Suppose you want to make a festive cookie for the holidays or any special occasion. In that case, you should definitely try my recipe for a simple dipped chocolate cookie with sprinkles for the holidays or even with your morning tea or coffee. To make this even more festive, try making the cookies as a mask for Purim.

The cookies do not contain dairy products and no eggs, so they are perfect for vegans or anyone that wants to eat a non-dairy, egg-free, parve cookie.

I made this recipe in collaboration with the wonderful British company "Quality Sprinkles." They have many colorful sprinkles that are kosher and made of all-natural ingredients.
I told you about this company before and shared beautiful recipes with their products, such as Frozen's rotating princesses and Olaf cake, no eggs donuts, perfect dome mousse, cake pops, and more.

This time I focused on two of their products: The first is a confetti pack filled with different shapes and colors - stars, rocks, balls, etc. The products are, of course, kosher and suitable for vegans and halal eaters. It does not contain soy, gluten, no preservatives, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors and sweeteners, non-GMO nor dairy products, no nuts, and no hydrogenated fat.

The second product is a mix of red, pink, and white sprinkles. They are OU kosher certified and vegan. They do not contain gluten, no preservatives, no artificial food colors and sweeteners, non-GMO, no dairy products, and no hydrogenated fat.

I used the two products to decorate my cookies. If you don't want to make simple round cookies or mask-shaped cookies, you can use any cookie cutter shape you want. Whatever form you choose, all come out delicious—crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside.

Both of the cookie shapes are wonderful and tasty.
The mask cookies don't look perfect, but they are fun to make.
And you can be certain that they are made of good ingredients and decorated with all-natural sprinkles with natural colors and components.

Another great thing about the mask cookies is that you can make an excellent activity for your kids by letting them decorate the mask in their own unique style after you bake them.
They can then wear them on their eyes and take pictures.
And to finish things up, they can enjoy their work by eating it.

Mask cookies or round decorated cookies/recipe: Con Delight
I measured using universal cups and spoons
Ingredients for 8 mask cookies (or at least 30 round cookies):
1 1/2 cups white flour, sifted
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup canola oil or another neutral vegetable oil

Frosting:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon water

Or for chocolate coating:
Dark chocolate
A bit of canola oil or another neutral vegetable oil

For decoration:
Rocking Star confetti mix by Quality Sprinkles

Preparation:
1.Preheat oven to 180C/356F, turbo (fan mode).
2.Transfer the flour, sugar, and instant vanilla pudding to a food processor and mix lightly.
3.Add the oil and mix until unified.
4.Transfer to a floured surface and roll. If you make simple round cookies, you can roll the dough thinly. If you decide to make mask cookies, don't roll the dough thin (see video attached.)
5.Form masks using cookie cutters or make your own mask from the baking paper and cut the rolled dough using the shapes you created (see above cooking tutorial).
6.Transfer carefully to a baking paper with a spatula.
7.Bake in the middle rack of the oven for 20 minutes.
8.The cookies will be soft, and that's fine. Let them cool completely at room temperature, and only then decorate.
9.Mix the frosting ingredients.
10.Spread on the chilled cookies and sprinkle with sprinkles.
11.Let the frosting set completely and serve.
12.You can make round cookies and dip them in chocolate - Melt the chocolate with the oil in the microwave. Dip one side of the cookie and in the chocolate and then in the sprinkles and leave to set.
13.Keep in an airtight container.
14.Enjoy!
