Simple and delicious Belgian waffle recipe served with whipped cream, ice cream, and chocolate sauce.

I measured using universal cups and spoons
Ingredients:
1 cup white flour, sifted
2 Tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups of milk
2 L eggs, separated into the egg yolk and egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
70 gram/2.5 oz. butter, melted
Chocolate sauce:
100 gram/3.5 oz. dark chocolate or milk chocolate (dark is highly recommended)
1/4 cup heavy cream
25 grams/around 1 oz. of butter
To decorate, use ice cream, whipped cream, wafer crumbs, fruit, etc.
Preparation:
1.Mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
2.Add the yolks, milk, and vanilla extract and mix well.
3.Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and let cool.
4.Add the melted butter to the mixture and mix well.
5.Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until you reach soft peaks - stable but soft.
6.Fold the egg whites into the flour mixture.
7.Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer and ladle a spoon of the mixture on the hot iron.
8.Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate sauce: melt in the microwave the chocolate, butter, and cream.
9.When the sauce is ready, let it cool a bit, and then transfer to a piping bag.
10.Arrange the waffles on a plate and decorate with chocolate sauce, ice cream, and whipped cream. You can add any toppings you like, even fruit such as banana, strawberry, kiwi, etc.
