I made this chicken during Passover holiday when I had no idea what to make and decided to throw a few spices in a pot and hope for the best.
Of course, I don't always nail it, and sometimes I do have a few mess-ups, but this time I nailed it! The recipe was a hit, and the chicken was flavorful.

Chicken with garlic and onion in red sauce/recipe by con delight
Ingredients:
About 1 Tablespoon oil
3 garlic cloves, sliced
1 jumbo onion, chopped
100-gram tomato paste (3.5 oz.)
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon dried parsley
A bit of black pepper
About 2.5 cups of water
3 chicken thighs, rinsed
4 chicken legs, rinsed
Preparation:
Preheat oil in a pan and fry the garlic and onion for 2 minutes. Add in the tomato paste, paprika, salt, parsley, and black pepper and mix. Add water and mix well.
Insert the chicken parts and pour the sauce on them. Cook on medium-low heat with a lid for 50 minutes to an hour, until the chicken is ready.
At least three times during cooking, open the lid and pour sauce on the chicken pieces. Before the end, check for seasoning and adjust flavors if needed.
Serve alongside white rice or any other addition, and you got yourself a great meal. Enjoy!
