Splendid chocolate brownie cubes recipe

בס"ד

splendid chocolate brownie cubes

Since Passover, there's this box of Splendid individual chocolates lying around, and almost no one touches it. Splendid chocolates by Elite are wrapped individually, and thanks to that separation between the different chocolates, I got an idea. The idea turned out to be a real brilliancy of a recipe - Splendid brownies.

I decided to decorate brownies with those chocolate cubes, so they will melt a bit and surely will be tastier, and they were. I got terrific brownies!! So chocolatey, so moist and so delicious that you can hardly stop eating them.

watkins pure vanilla and pure almond extracts

To make these brownies, I used a product I got to review: the Watkins company's pure vanilla extract, a leading food brand in the US. On every recipe, it is better to use pure vanilla extracts that give real non-synthetic flavor. Just in cases where you make a recipe that doesn't go any baking or cooking stage and is meant for kids, I recommend using artificial vanilla extract, since pure vanilla extract contains alcohol.

Watkins' extract has not undergone genetic engineering. It doesn't contain corn syrup and no gluten. Price: 31.90 NIS per 29 ml. Besides, you can find other extract flavors such as almonds, orange, and cinnamon. Price: 29.90 NIS per 59 milliliters. Kosher by the chief rabbinate of Israel and the OU.

Splendid brownie cubes/recipe: con delight
The measurements were made using universal cups and spoons
Ingredients for 20X20 cm pan:
100-gram/3.5 oz. butter
100-gram/3.5 oz. bittersweet chocolate
2 L eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Oil spray for greasing the pan

Coating:
100-gram/3.5 oz. bittersweet chocolate
25-gram/0.88 oz. butter

Decoration:
Impressive Chocolate cubes to cover the surface of the cake

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180C, turbo.
Melt the butter and bittersweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Stop the microwave and mix every now and then and then melt in the microwave until fully melted.

Let the mixture cool a bit and then add the eggs and mix well. Add the vanilla extract, sugar, and flour and mix well.
Transfer to a greased pan* and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted to the cake comes out clean.

Then set aside and melt the coating ingredients in the microwave. The mixture will be a bit hard, and that's completely okay. Spread on the cake and decorate with the chocolates. Serve and enjoy con delight :-)

I made this treat in the summer, so the chocolate cubes were a bit softer than usual. And with the hot ganache, they came just right so I could easily cut through the cube while eating. If your cubes were in the fridge, then allow them to sit at room temperature in the summer, or if you want to make this in wintertime, just place the cubes in the microwave or oven for a few seconds. Careful not to melt them too much.

*If you got a square ring pan, then cover the bottom with baking paper and aluminum paper and then spray only the sides with oil spray.
